Rain expected Saturday afternoon and evening

Morning parades could beat the rain.

"Early Saturday looks dry, but getting warm as highs reach the upper 70s and low 80s," WWL-TV Meteorologist Chris Franklin forecasts. "Showers and storms primarily in the late afternoon and evening hours."

He adds that the rain doesn't look to last for very long.

"The line should quickly move out by Saturday night, and Sunday morning you'll notice the cooler and less humid conditions!"
