Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office deputies are investigating a deadly hit-and-run this morning. It happened in the parking lot of the Raceland Truck Plaza on Hwy. 1.
"The driver of a white International semi-truck hauling a flatbed trailer struck a woman and left the scene," the sheriff's office said in a statement. "Deputies have not yet identified the victim or the driver."
