The New Orleans Saints have added the NFL allotted 10 players to their practice squad. Most of the players were initially cut from the team yesterday, but there are a few new names in the building.

WR Emmanuel Butler

WR Lil’Jordan Humphrey

WR/RB Taquan Mizzell

TE Dan Arnold

TE Alize’ Mack

OL John Leglue

OL Derrick Kelly

DB TJ Green

DB Terrell Williams

DE Mitchell Loewen

Taquan Mizzell first was picked up by the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of Virginia in 2017.  He would go on to be claimed off waivers by the Bears and spent the last 2 seasons in Chicago totaling nine rushes for 16 yards along with eight receptions for 78 yards and a touchdown.

Mizzell also contributed on special teams. The 5-foot-9, 194-pounder brought back seven kicks for 106 yards while also making three tackles with a fumble recovery.

John Leglue is coming home and happy about it. The 6-foot-6, 302-pound offensive lineman grew up in Alexandria and attended Tulane before the Denver Broncos signed him as an undrafted free agent a year ago. He has not seen any NFL action yet.

When one door closes another one opens! So blessed for the opportunity to get back to New Orleans and play for my hometown team. Thankful for my time in Denver! But now it’s all about The Who Dat! #laissezbontempsrouler #WhoDat pic.twitter.com/CcoDKXX76H

Mitchell Loewen is making his return to the Black and Gold after spending 2018 with the Detroit Lions. He first came to the team as an undrafted free agent out of Arkansas in 2016. He showed promise as a defensive lineman who could fill-in at DL or DE. But, injuries limited his development before the Saints let him go.
