Running back Dwyane Washington is the latest Saints to re-sign. He came to New Orleans in 2018 after getting claimed off waivers. The 6ft1, 223 pounder was originally drafted by the Detroit Lions in the seventh round in 2016.
Washington is behind Alvin Kamara and Latavius Murray on the Saints running back depth chart and has only rushed for 214 yards the past two years. The 25-year-old’s main value comes on special teams, where he took 295 snaps a year ago.
