After missing the last two meets, LSU superstar gymnast Olivia Dunne stepped in Friday and blew the judges away with a top-notch floor routine to help the Tigers to their highest score ever.

Dunne matched her season-high with a 9.875. The Tigers’ total score for the meet against Arkansas was 198.475. The Razorbacks only managed a 196.200.

ESPN posted video of Dunne’s fabulous showing on YouTube.

LSU’s 198.475 was the highest total score posted by any team in the country this season, but head coach Jay Clark, who earned his 100th career victory with the win, focused more on the actual performance of his team rather than the scoring.

“Well, we got better. That’s what this week was about. The focus and the main goal was to get a good performance, a complete performance," Clark stated, according to LSU's website. "I know everyone wants to talk about the score tonight and that’s great. I do not focus on whether we get a low or high score. It’s about our performance."

"We did our job tonight and we can do that same performance somewhere else," he added. "For us it’s about keeping our eye on the next step ahead of us and just taking it one step at a time."

Dunne celebrated the win on her Instagram page.

Now 5-2 on the season, LSU is back in action Friday against Georgia.
