Lane Kiffin lived up to his nickname, "The Portal King."
Over the past couple of weeks, Kiffin has brought an outrageous amount of talent to Death Valley, including 2 of the top 10 QB transfer portal prospects, Sam Leavitt & Husan Longstreet. All in all, he's landed LSU at the #1 spot of the NCAA portal rankings.
Below is a breakdown of every portal move so far, along with some brief analysis of each player.

(Last updated: Jan. 23, 9 p.m.)
Jordan Seaton, OT (Colorado)
Below is a breakdown from WWL's NFL & NCAA football analyst, Mike Detillier
With Seaton, the Tigers have landed the top left tackle in the transfer portal, beating out Miami (FLA.), Oregon and Mississippi State for his services.
Seaton was a highly recruited prep tackle from The IMG Academy. He was 5-star prep recruit coming out of high school and was regarded as one of the top offensive linemen from the high school ranks.
Seaton had 22 starts at offensive tackle for Colorado. He's a talented big-man athlete who features strong coordination with his arms and hands as well as foot movement skills. He moves his feet with great ease for a man of his size.
Seaton does a first-rate job getting his arms on ends and steering them to the outside. He also has first-rate balance skills and good knee bend.
Seaton has improved his skillset to stay low and getting into the torso of defenders as a run blocker, and he typically creates good movement with his drive blocks.
Seaton no doubt has the potential and talent to be a firts round pick left tackle for the 2027 NFL draft.
Princewill Umanmielen, edge (Ole Miss)
Umanmielen was named to the All-SEC Third Team this past season after leading Ole Miss in sacks (9) and tackles for loss (13). He played in all 15 games with one start.
Stacy Gage, RB (UCF)
A Tampa native, Gage was a 4-star recruit in the Class of 2025 and ranked as the No. 30 running back nationally by 247Sports. Listed at 5'11, 210 pounds, he appeared in seven games at UCF during the 2025 season, rushing for 63 yards and one touchdown on 13 carries.
Mason Dossett, S (Baylor)
A native of Texas, Dissett was a 3-star recruit in 2024 and ranked as the No. 153 overall prospect by the Rivals Industry Rankings and a top wide receiver/safety in the state. He began his career at Baylor as a safety, redshirting his freshman season before switching to WR in 2025. Dossett appeared in two games in that role, logging just one catch for 11 yards. He is expected to play safety at LSU.
TJ Dottery, OT (Ole Miss)
A consensus 4-star recruit out of Montgomery, Alabama in 2022, Dottery ranked among the nation's top linebackers and a top-300 overall prospect by major recruiting services. He began his college career at Clemson, where he redshirted and appeared in four games as a freshman in 2022, recording two tackles. He transferred to Ole Miss in 2023 and sat out the regular season due to NCAA rules. Listed at 6'2, 230 pounds, Dottery became a two-year starter and the SEC's leading tackler in 2025 with 98 tackles (48 solo), 5.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles. He has just one year of eligibility remaining.
Aliou Bah, OT (Maryland)
Another 4-star recruit in 2022, he attended IMG Academy in Bradenton, Floridaz and is listed at 6'6, 331 pounds. Bah began his college career at Georgia, redshirting in 2022 and appearing in three games in 2023. He transferred to Maryland in 2024, where he started 12 games at right guard that year and all 11 in 2025, contributing to an offensive line that allowed just seven sacks in 2025.
Faheem Delane, DB (Ohio State)
Below is a breakdown from WWL's NFL & NCAA football analyst, Mike Detillier
You never, ever have enough defensive backs, and the Tigers landed one of the top defensive backs via the transfer portal in former Ohio State safety
Faheem Delane.
Faheem is the younger brother of LSU All-SEC and All-American standout cornerback, Mansoor Delane, whose projected to be the top cornerback off the draft board come this year's NFL draft.
Faheem is an aggressive, get-up-the-football-seam-fast, hard-hitting safety
with excellent tackling skills. Like his brother, Faheem has 1st rate football instincts. He tracks the ball well in flight and reads and recognizes what's in front of him quickly.
Like any prep defensive back, Faheem has improved in taking better angles to the football with the ball in flight. Overall, he's an outstanding safety prospect with versatile skills to play a number of spots in the secondary.
Devin Harper, OT (Ole Miss)
LSU was looking to upgrade its offensive line and, just like that, has landed Sean Thompkins and now Ole Miss offensive right tackle/right guard Devin Harper.
Harper, 6-4, 315, from Calvary Baptist Academy in Shreveport, initially committed to LSU before flipping and signing with Ole Miss.
He was regarded as one of the top offensive linemen in the state of Louisiana coming out of Calvary Baptist.
Harper is known for his power skills at the point of attack and good movement with his drive blocks. He's explosive in the lower body, and he gets into the torso of a defender quickly.
Coaches have praised his work ethic and attention to detail. He worked extensively on his footwork and hand placement skills as a pass blocker in 2025 as a freshman at Ole Miss.
He's also versatile, with the skillset to play right tackle or right guard.
Ultimately, Harper has the skills, physicality, and focus to become a starter upfront for LSU in 2026.
Sean Thompkins, OT (Baylor)
Below is a breakdown from WWL's NFL & NCAA football analyst, Mike Detillier
A left tackle was a want and a need for LSU, and Lane Kiffin landed an experienced one in Sean Thompkins.
Thompkins, 6-5, 305, was a top-50 interior lineman in the 2023 class, and started the final 1/2 of the 2025 season at left tackle at Baylor.
Thompkins is an exceptional athlete, moves his feet well, has long arms, and shows flashes of incredible pass-blocking skills.
However, he needs to become a much more physical run blocker & improve his footwork and his outside steering skills as a pass protector.
Zach Grace, TE (Oregon)
Committed to LSU after three seasons with the Ducks, where he redshirted in 2023, appeared in 10 games in 2024 and played in all 14 games in 2025. The Kearney, Missouri native is listed at 6-3, 240 and has two years of eligibility remaining. He profiles more as a blocker in Kiffin's system and has not yet caught a pass in his career.
Husan Longstreet, QB (USC)
A former 5-star QB from the 2025 class, Longstreet was ranked No. 4 nationally and top-25 overall out of Centennial High School in California. He threw for over 8,000 yards and 83 TDs in high school before redshirting as a true freshman in 2025 for the Trojans.
He did appear in four games (86.7% completion, 103 passing yards, 1 TD; 76 rushing yards, 2 TDs). He now joins Kiffin in Baton Rouge, who had recruited Longstreet previously, and will have four years of eligibility remaining. He's one of several QB transfers into LSU this season, a group headlined by Sam Leavitt, who is expected to start.
Below is a breakdown on Husan Longstreet WWL's NFL & NCAA analyst, Mike Detillier
Husan has a quick, smooth delivery/release. He was also an accurate downfield passer and makes plays on the move with both his arm and as a runner.
Longstreet is still developing and processing his overall game as a downfield passer, but has a ton of potential, and could even eventually become the starting LSU QB.
Dilin Jones, RB (Wisconsin)
A former 4-star recruit from Maryland, Jones is listed at 6-0, 206 pounds. He began the 2025 season as Wisconsin's top back, rushing for 300 yards and 2 touchdowns on 76 carries across seven games before a season-ending turf toe injury in October. He has three years of eligibility remaining and becomes the third RB portal addition.
Landen Clark, QB, Elon
A former unranked high school prospect out of Virginia, Clark is listed at 6-0, 186 pounds. He started 12 games this past season for Elon, throwing for 2,321 yards and 18 touchdowns against 8 interceptions, while also rushing for 614 yards and 11 TDs. He was named CAA Co-Offensive Rookie of the Year. Clark will have three years of eligibility remaining. He's one of several QB transfers into LSU this season, a group headlined by Sam Leavitt, who is expected to start.
Sam Leavitt, QB (Arizona State)
Below is a breakdown from WWL's NFL and NCAA football analyst Mike Detillier
In former Arizona State quarterback Sam Leavitt, Tiger head coach Lane Kiffin landed the “ perfect fit” signal caller.
Despite undergoing Lisfranc foot surgery in November, LSU won the recruiting battle over Tennessee and Miami, Fla., for his talents.
In many ways, Leavitt reminds me of former Ole Miss and New York Giants 2025 1st round pick Jaxson Dart.
Leavitt has a lot of “ riverboat gambler” traits to him, he has a strong arm and he’s an elusive runner with the football.
He threw medium-range and longer throws better than at short range when at Arizona State, and told me just that at the Manning Passing Academy.
“I have been working hard this offseason on the shorter to medium range throws,” Leavitt said. “I know somebody who is just timing with my receivers, and I do like throwing the deeper passes. But I know I have to improve at hitting the short passes better and taking what the defenses give me. Along with improving my footwork, it’s the biggest area of improvement for me this offseason.”
Leavitt started his college career at Michigan State before transferring to Arizona State.
Throughout his college career, Leavitt completed 61% of his throws, 36 touchdowns, 11 pass interceptions, and rushed for 816 yards and 10 rushing touchdowns.
...
Leavitt, listed at 6-2, 205 pounds, helped lead the Sun Devils to a Big 12 title and CFP berth in 2024 while throwing for 2,885 yards and 24 touchdowns against just six interceptions, rushing for another 442 yards and five TDs. Leavitt's 2025 season was limited to just 7 games do to a foot injury and surgery. Leavitt, ranked as high as No. 1 overall in transfer portal rankings, will have two years of eligibility remaining. LSU is also no stranger to adding transfer QBs from the Sun Devils, with Jayden Daniels also joining the Tigers after multiple seasons with Arizona State.
Roman Mothershed, WR (Troy)
Mothershed is a former 3-star recruit who caught 29 passes for 297 yards and a touchdown during two seasons at Troy. The Alabama native is listed at 604, 208 pounds.
Darrin Strey, OT (Kentucky)
Strey only saw the field for 18 snaps for his true freshman season at Kentucky. The native of Paw Paw, Michigan was a former 4-star recruit, the No. 6 recruit in the state of Michigan in 2024, and is listed at 6-7, 322 pounds.
Achilles Woods, DL (South Alabama)
Woods, an Alabama native, is listed at 6-3, 289 pounds and logged 11 tackles and a sack while appearing in 12 games in his true freshman season.
Tyree Holloway, WR (West Florida)
Holloway spent the past two seasons with West Florida. He had his most productive season in 2025, catching 34 passes for 661 yards and 8 TDs with an average of 19.4 yards per catch. He's listed as 6-0, 180 pounds.
William Satterwhite, OL (Tennessee)
A former 4-star recruit, Satterwhite appeared in seven games as a reserve center during his redshirt freshman season with the Vols. He's listed at 6-3, 305 pounds.
Malik Elzy, WR
The fifth transfer WR added by LSU this cycle. Elzy accounted for 16 catches, 213 yards and two touchdowns over his three seasons with Illinois. He could have up to three years of eligibility remaining depending on the NCAA's ruling regarding his redshirt request for this past year. He's listed at 6-2, 225 pounds.
Josh Jackson, WR (McNeese)
Below is a breakdown from WWL college football analyst, Mike Detillier:
LSU added a familiar name to its WR group in former St. Augustine High School standout Josh Jackson.
Jackson excelled in both football and basketball at St. Augustine before signing with the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2024, before transferring to McNeese State in 2025, where he caught 20 passes for 258 yards.
A tall, linear end who has excellent straight-line speed and outstanding eye-hand coordination, Jackson's also a good run-after-catch receiver.
Jackson improved as a route runner in 2025, but still has a way to go, and also needs work coming out of his cuts and breaks more quickly.
Ja'Quan Sprinkle, OL
Sprinkle is a rising junior who appeared in in 27 games over three seasons with NC Central. He was a second-team all MEAC performer in 2025.
Jordan Ross, Edge (Tennessee)
Below is a breakdown from WWL college football analyst, Mike Detillier:
Jordan Ross was a 5-star recruit and rated by many as the top edge pass rusher in the high school ranks coming out of Alabama.
Ross signed with Tennessee and earned Freshman All-SEC honors in 2024 in a reserve role.
The rangy, linear DE recorded 23 tackles, 3 1/2 tackles for losses, 1 1/2 QB sacks and 1 forced fumble in 2025.
The 6'4", 250-pounder is a speed guy who relies on his quick initial step up the field and his rundown chase skills.
However, he needs to improve his moves/ countermoves to defeat a block, as well as hold his point of attack strength against the run.
Ross flashes big-time pass rush abilities and chase-down skills. Now it's time for him to become a more consistent overall player in run support and as a pass rusher.
Jaylen Brown, Edge (South Carolina)
A former four-star recruit, Brown comes from South Carolina and is eligible to play 3 more seasons after sitting out the entire 2025 season with a knee injury.
Malik Blocton, DL (Auburn)
Below is a breakdown from WWL college football analyst, Mike Detillier:
Thursday morning, LSU added a couple of big men to its defensive line.
Malik Blocton, a 6-2 1/4, 290-pound transfer defensive lineman from Auburn, was a highly recruited upfront defender who selected Auburn over Alabama, Texas, and Florida during the recruiting process.
Over the past two seasons, Blocton totaled 33 tackles, 2 QB sacks and 8 1/2 tackles for losses.
Blocton is a stocky DL who generates very good lower-body power, and he shows flashes of outstanding penetration skills and quick get-off abilities.
While Malik needs work on his arm and hand usage and the ability to get off of blockers in a quicker fashion, I like his lower body power to speed element, but he has to develop better overall techniques to reach his full potential.
Edge rusher Jaylen Brown is the “ all-potential” player.
Well built end (6-4 3/4, 265) who has a long wingspan and very good “ get off the snap” skills.
Brown was a reserve freshman DE at Missouri in 2024, playing 5 games, but he decided to transfer to South Carolina. In April of 2025, he sustained a knee injury and later surgery, and didn’t take a snap in 2025.
He is reunited at LSU with his former South Carolina D-Line coach Sterling Lucas, now the defensive line coach at LSU.
Scott Starzyk, PK (Arkansas)
Starzyk transfers from Arkansas and will spend his second year with LSU. In his first year he went 14-18 attempts with a long of 53 yards.
Mack Mulhern, LS (Florida)
Mulhern comes from Florida and didn't play a single game during his freshman year.
Eugene Wilson, WR (Florida)
"Eugene 'Tre' Wilson is leaving Florida for the Tigers after catching 107 passes for 1,043 yards and ten touchdowns after three seasons with the Gators," writes WWL's LSU insider, Jeff Palermo.
"The former five-star recruit in the Class of 2023 caught 61 passes for 538 yards and six touchdowns in his freshman season. One of those touchdown catches came against LSU."
Jayce Brown, WR (Kansas State)
Brown comes from Kansas State, where he spent three seasons and went for 1,972 yards.
Hayden Craig, P (Florida)
Craig comes from Florida and has three remaining years of eligible play.
Rod Gainey, RB (Charlotte)
Gainey comes from Charlotte, where the last season he rushed for 260 yards and one TD.
Stephiylan Green, DT (Clemson)
Green joins LSU after playing at Clemson. Last season, he had 18 tackles and 2.5 sacks.
Ty Benefield, S (Boise State)
Benefield is a rising senior whose transferring from Boise State. 2026 is his last season of legibility.
Tre Brown, WR (Old Dominion)
With two more years of eligibility, Brown transfers from Old Dominion, where he went for 762 yards last season.
Malachi Thomas, TE (Georgia)
The three star-recruit out of Georgia comes off of a 2 TD, 192 yard season.
Raycine Guillory, RB (Utah)
Guillory was transfers from Utah with four years of eligibility left.
Jackson Harris, WR (Hawaii)
Harris comes from Hawaii with two years of eligibly. Last season he went for 963 yards and 12 TDs.
