Missouri's top receiver out due to COVID-19 contact tracing, report says

Missouri will be without its leading receiver Damon Halezelton Saturday as it hosts LSU, accoridng to a report from Yahoo Sports Pete Thamel.

Earlier this week, a Missouri player tested positive for COVID-19 and due to contract tracing six others wereout for the 11 a.m. for a matchup that was relocated from Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge due to Hurricane Delta.

Along with Hazelton, receivers Keke Chism and Dominic Gicinto as well as two defensive backs are out fro the Tigers. Hazelton, Chism and Gicinto have combined to catch 15 passes for 184 yards this season.

LSU’s matchup with Missouri was moved to Faurot Field in Columbia, Mo. as Hurricane Delta makes its way to the Gulf Coast. The game will start at 11 a.m. Saturday but was originally set to kick off at 8 p.m. in Baton Rouge.

“It’s 2020, obviously, nothing is predictable,” Missouri coach Eli Drinkwitz said earlier this week. “(We're) excited about the opportunity to play this week. I think any opportunity to play college football game in this season and this environment is awesome.”
