The Friday night lights will shine all across Louisiana this weekend as the 2024 prep football season gets under way, and week one of the LHSAA football season features games that you'd expect to see deep in the playoffs.
Destrehan vs. Catholic of Baton Rouge, Acadiana at Ruston, and Union Parish against North Desoto are among some of the marquee matchups on this week's schedule. The only question heading into the weekend is: how will the weather impact this week's games and the performances of the teams that will have to play in the elements?
