LATEST: Saints to sign WR Chris Hogan

Chris Hogan might be returning to the NFL following a brief stint with the Premier Lacrosse League.
According to NFL Media's Mike Garafolo, the 32-year-old Hogan is one of a few veteran wide receivers working out for the Saints Monday. They are looking for help following the recent news that Michael Thomas will have to miss some time at the start of the regular season.
This is Hogan's first year in the PLL.
His most recent NFL experience came with the Jets last year. Following three years with the Patriots (2016-18), he played for Carolina in 2019.
The Saints have newfound depth issues at wide receiver after the revelation that star Michael Thomas is expected to miss the beginning of the 2021 season as he recovers from ankle surgery he underwent in June. The team was already looking at replacing the production of Emmanuel Sanders, who left the team in the offseason in a cost-cutting move.
