The New Orleans Saints added three players to their injury report on Thursday, news that could have a serious impact on their prospects in Week 2 against the Baltimore Ravens.
WR Chris Olave (hamstring), DE Chris Olave (calf) and LS Zach Wood (calf) were each added to the injury report on Thursday. Wood is expected to miss significant time and the Saints were working out replacements with an official signing expected soon. The outlook for Olave and Young is unclear, though Kellen Moore will address the media on Friday afternoon following practice, at which point the team will announce gameday designations. Both were listed as limited in Thursday's practice.
Olave is coming off of a career-best game with 10 catches for 182 yards in the season-opener, but dealt with cramping issues throughout. Young's injury is concerning based on recent history, with the star DE picking up a calf injury prior to the season-opener last season and missing the first five games.
