The New Orleans Saints picked up 31-3 win against the Denver Broncos Sunday afternoon.
The Saints took a 7-0 lead with 10:19 to play in the second quarter when Taysom Hill finished a 13-play, 74-yard drive with a 1-yard touchdown run.
Hill’s second rushing score of the gave the Saints a 14-0 lead with 1:03 to play in the first half. The 2-yard touchdown run capped a five-play 13-yard drive that was set up by Kwon Alexanders fumble recovery.
The Saints scored once more before halftime when Wil Lutz hit a 40-yard field goal. The kick was set up after Janoris Jenkins intercepted Hinton. ,
CJ Gardner-Johnson secured the Saints third turn over of the game in the third quarter but Essang Bassey picked off Hill whose pass to Michael Thomas was tipped by AJ Bouye.
The Broncos turned the takeaway into points when Brandon McManus kicked a 58-yard field goal to narrow the lead to 17-3.
The Saints answered right back when Latavius Murray bolted for a 36-yard touchdown to finish an 8-play, 82-yard drive.
Murray, who finished with 124 yards rushing, scored again in the fourth quarter to cap and 11-play, 77-yard drive.
