The New Orleans Saints have made some splash decisions on the eve of their Week 9 showdown with the Browns.
The announced Saturday afternoon that it had waived Kendre Miller, a third round pick from 2023, as well as TE Treyton Welch. Miller has led the Saints with 57 carries on the year, but has averaged just 2.8 yards per attempt.
The cut comes as New Orleans clears space for a pair of returns from injured reserve, with both WR Jordyn Tyson and Kelvin Banks activated for the game after getting in limited practices throughout the week.
