The New Orleans Saints are set to sign former Denver Broncos tight end Nick Vannett, according to a report from the NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.
Vannett spent this past season with the Denver Broncos and caught 14 passes for 95 yards and a touchdown.
He spent his previous four seasons in Pittsburgh and Seattle where he collected a total of 61 catches for 591 yards and four touchdowns.
Vannett will be expected to provide depth for the Saints who released tight ends Jared Cook and Josh Hill earlier this year.
