The New Orleans Saints look to be on track for some reinforcements in Week 2 when they face the Baltimore Ravens.
Veteran RB Alvin Kamara was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, and head coach Kellen Moore said the team "feels good" about the potential of getting him back for this upcoming Sunday. He noted that Kamara could've potentially played last week, but the lack of reps was a factor. Last week marked the first time Kamara had practiced since going out with a knee injury during the joint practice against the Cowboys.
“I thought he did an amazing job putting himself in a position to practice really well," Moore said. "He’s in a good place."
With Kamara unavailable the workload fell to Travis Etienne and Kendre Miller. Both players logged nine carries, though Etienne outsnapped Miller 53 to 26.
Wednesday's practice also saw the return of rookie TE Oscar Delp, who had missed the past several weeks with a hamstring injury. He was limited. Treyton Welch was signed to the active roster ahead of the season-opener and saw significant

Practice squad WRs Trey Palmer and Cedric Wilson also continued to be absent.
Isaiah Stalbird did exit the game against the Lions briefly due to his shoulder issue, but returned and played on special teams. Jordan, who returned to practice last Friday, continues to be limited. Moore said there's a chance he returns for Week 2. Last week the head coach ruled Jordan out on Monday.
The Ravens side of the injury report was much longer and featured six absences, including star pass rusher Trey Hendrickson and WR Zay Flowers. Here's how that broke down:
