Flash back to the tail-end of the 2019 season and the playoff picture would be unrecognizable. The Saints walked off the field in Week 17 that year with a 13-3 record ... and the No. 3 seed in the playoffs.

In 2022, 8-9 might be enough to guarantee any of the Falcons, Bucs, Panthers or Saints an NFC South title and the No. 4 seed in the postseason bracket. That'd even include a home game!
