The New Orleans Saints have a fresh campaign to encourage COVID-19 vaccinations, but it's not exactly new.
The 43-second clip the team shared on Wednesday was in mold of the show "Saved by the Bell," edited with retro effects and box TV set.
WWL's color analyst Deuce McAllister kicks off the ad from behind a desk, with Cajun Cannon Bobby Hebert later joining to say: "In a word, would I skip the shot? Not."

Saints and Pelicans team owner Gayle Benson joins to double-down on the message, before the group finishes: "Let's not skip the shot."
The video comes on the heels of new state and city regulations that mandate masks, and COVID vaccine verification before entry. That'll be the case on Saints gamedays, with the additional option allowing fans to show a negative COVID test taken within the prior 72 hours.
COVID mitigation efforts have kicked up again around the country in recent weeks as communities attempt to stem the latest surge of the pandemic, primarily a product of the Delta Variant. Newly instated Los Angeles regulations will also mandate mask wearing at LSU football's opener against UCLA, though without vaccine requirements.
The Saints are set to host a game in the Caesars Superdome on Monday when the Jacksonville Jaguars visit in Week 2 of the preseason. The game will mark the first without capacity limitations since the 2019 season.
