New Orleans Police arrested a 13-year-old boy on charges of making threats toward a local school.
Cops say the child sent emails containing threats against Audubon Gentilly School on Painters Street.
"The school investigated the incident and contacted an NOPD Third District school resource officer for assistance," said police. "The officer positively identified the juvenile male as the perpetrator, placed him under arrest and booked him into the Juvenile Justice Intervention Center on one count of terrorizing."
Police say they do not think this incident is connected with any other school threats currently under investigation.
