Eight people are hurt in a shooting in the St. John the Baptist Parish community of Wallace early this morning.
The sheriff's office says three people were shot, four others were grazed by gunfire, and one other person suffered a separate injury.
It happened outside a business in the 5800 block of LA 18 in Wallace shortly after midnight.
All eight victims were taken to several hospitals in the area and all are in stable condition, the sheriff's office said.
Detectives recovered multiple bullet casings from the scene.
