The woman who pleaded guity to helping Daniel Callahan murder in the kidnapping of two Loranger children and the murder of one of them will serve 40 years in prison.
A Mississippi judge sentenced Victoria Cox for the kidnapping and death of six-year-old Erin Brunett and the kidnapping of Brunett's younger sister. Cox pleaded guilty in the Magnolia State for her role in the case. According to federal investigators, Cox and Callihan performed sexual acts on Erin before killing her.
Cox still faces charges in Tangipahoa Parish in connection with the case.
