Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Investigators have made arrests of two men wanted in connection with the Thursday’s quadruple shooting that killed two victims.
Thursday’s incident took place on Division Street between Stefano and Olney in the Fat City neighborhood.
The arrests are of an adult, 21-year-old Metairie resident Robert White and a 17-year-old juvenile from River Ridge.

White is facing charges of possession with intent to distribute marijuana and illegal possession of a fire arm.
The unnamed juvenile is facing two counts of first degree murder and obstruction of justice.
Investigators uncovered that the adult female involved in the incident had given a ride to 16-year-old relatives and the 17-year-old suspect to Division Street to pick up belongings.
But the juveniles had gone to the location to buy marijuana from suspect White.
White got into the SUV with the juveniles and the woman.
While negotiations were ongoing to make the purchase, the 17-year-old exited the SUV.
That’s when the 17-year-old drew a gun and killed White’s 22-year-old acquaintance standing in the parking lot.
As the 17-year-old was firing at White’s friend, the 16-year-old pulled a firearm of his own in an attempt to rob White.
White managed to escape to the robbery attempt, leaving the marijuana behind.
When the 17-year-old got back in the vehicle, White produced his own gun and opened fire on the SUV.
He struck all three people in the vehicle.
The 16-year-old, shot several times, was dumped in the parking lot by the 17-year-old.
The 16-year-old was taken to a hospital, but died of his wounds.
The adult female fled the scene and notified police.
She was treated for a gunshot wound to the arm.
The firearm used by the 16-year-old and the narcotics left behind by White were recovered from inside the vehicle.
The 17-year-old made his way to East Jefferson General Hospital then taken to UMC.
He was subsequently treated and released where he was then arrested.
Robert White remained at the scene and cooperated with deputies upon their arrival.
Though he is facing narcotics charges, he is not facing charges in the shooting as it appears to have been in self-defense.
