The Sewerage & Water Board of New Orleans has canceled the precautionary boil advisory for parts of Algiers.
Neighborhoods in English Turn, along with parts of the Tall Timbers subdivision and the 5300 block of Tullis Drive were advised to boil tap water Monday afternoon when a contractor broke a 12-inch water main on Tullis.
The SWBNO this morning says water samples showed no signs of contamination.
