Boo at the returns to the Audubon Zoo but with a major change.
The local Halloween experience will now be called Peek-a-Boo at the Zoo and it will take place during daytime hours instead of at night.

The walk-through family-friendly Halloween attraction is scheduled for October 17, 18, 24, and 25 during regular zoo hours from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Parents and kids are encouraged to dress up in their favorite Halloween costume for the event. Audubon Zoo animals will be a part of the new daytime Halloween event.
"Although Peek-A-Boo at the Zoo won't look like the traditional Boo at the Zoo event, we are excited to provide our community with a safe environment to celebrate Halloween," said Audubon Nature Institute President and CEO Ron Forman. "We are thankful to be able to partner with Children's Hospital New Orleans to continue to connect children to the natural world."
Proceeds from the event go to help Children's Hospital New Orleans.
