Cops say gunfire in the French Quarter left one person dead early this morning.
“Police responded to the 400 block of Bourbon Street shortly before 1:25 am on a report of a shooting,” NOPD Sgt. Barry Fletcher notified us. “Officers found an adult female suffering from a gunshot wound.”
New Orleans EMS took the woman to the hospital.
“The victim has been confirmed as being deceased at the hospital.”
Witnesses say cops caught the alleged shooter trying to run away from the scene.
