Exxon Mobil says its first-quarter profit could top $9 billion, thanks in part to billions more from rising crude prices. Exxon estimates it will earn between $1.9 billion and $2.3 billion over its fourth-quarter profit of $8.8 billion due to crude oil price changes and up to about $400 million in gas-price changes. Exxon says thinner margins in its chemical business and charges related to leaving Russia will offset its otherwise upbeat forecast.
The cruise ship buffet may be the first thing many people think of when they envision taking a cruise. Some are finally coming back….sort of. Royal Caribbean says it’s bringing back the buffet on some ships, but, some areas will still be served by crew members instead of you picking up the tongs yourself. Grab-and-go dishes and single-serving portions will continue as a permanent offering.
