The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a homicide by shooting that occurred Saturday in the 2800 block of Magnolia Street off Washington Avenue.
At around 10:16 p.m., Sixth District officers responded to a call of shots fired at the location.
Upon arrival, officers discovered an unknown male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
EMS pronounced him deceased at the scene.
Investigators are currently in the process of gathering evidence and information to identify the person(s) responsible for this incident, as well as a motive.
