A man is recovering after being shot in New Orleans East on Saturday night.
It happened around 8:30 p.m. on Chef Menteur Highway near Interstate 10.
According to a New Orleans Police Department spokesperson, the victim suffered a body wound. His condition was not disclosed. So far, police have not made any arrests or named any suspects.
