Investigators are out today looking at damage from apparent twisters in St. Tammany, Tangipahoa and Washington Parishes.
National Weather Service Meteorologist Christopher Bannan says a squall line raked the region from around 7:00pm until around midnight.
"It really started to increase in intensity," he explained.
Bannan says that's when they started seeing what looked like tornadoes on radar.
"We got a couple around Franklinton, Rosedale... also around Loranger and then between Folsom and Bush."
Trees and powerlines were ripped down, roof damage was reported too.
There were no reports of serious injuries.
The storms knocked out power to more than 12,000 customers.
