New Orleans Police homicide detectives are investigating a triple homicide in the 2900 block of Conti Street, a few blocks off of N. Broad.
Police say they received the call shortly before 7:00 p.m.
"There are three victims reported in this incident – two male victims who have both been declared deceased at the scene," said police in a statement. "A third victim – a female – has been transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries."
Late word Sunday afternoon from NOPD is that the woman who was also shot and transported has now died of her injuries. All three of the victims remain unidentified. Detectives are working to find a suspect and establish a motive for the gun violence.
