Council member Helena Moreno moments before the body voted unanimously to open an investigation into Entergy New Orleans rolling blackouts which left parts of the City in the dark without any advance notice.
The utility also reportedly shed more than three times the amount of power than necessary.
“Unfortunately we’re having to initiate yet another forensic investigation into Entergy New Orleans,” Moreno bemoaned as the body moved on the resolution.
In the resolution, the council wants its investigators to prepare a full report and have it ready for them and the public in 45-days.
