New Orleans Police are investigating upwards of 48-car burglaries that took place in Treme either last night or early this morning.
Victims span the neighborhood from Dumaine to St. Phillip to Ursiline Avenues, including dozens of cars broken into at the Art Space Apartments.
Some residents have had their cars broken into numbers of times over past few months.
First District detectives say the crime spree likely started around 5am.
No suspects are known at this time.
