Curfews | See times by parish

With far-reaching devastation from Hurricane Ida requiring weeks to repair and many areas without power for the foreseeable future, curfews have been instituted to ensure the safety of the area's residents while damage is assessed.

The following are curfews are currently in place.

Jefferson Parish

From 6 am Monday until 6 am Tuesday

St. James Parish

A parish-wide curfew has been set beginning at 4 p.m., Sunday, August 29th and continuing through sun up Monday morning. This curfew will not impact those traveling to and from work.

St. Tammany Parish

Parish wide curfew starting at noon Sunday

St. John the Baptist Parish

Curfew from 6 pm Sunday until 7 am Monday

Lafourche Parish

A 6 p.m. parish-wide curfew that will continue until further notice while the storm passes.

Plaquemines Parish

Sheriff Gerald A. Turlich, Jr. announced that the active nightly curfew for areas under a mandatory evacuation is now parish-wide as of Saturday.

Tangipahoa Parish

Tangipahoa Parish Government will institute a parish wide curfew starting at 9 p.m., on Sunday and continuing until 6 a.m., on Monday.

Terrebonne Parish

A parish-wide curfew is set for 6:00 p.m.

Washington Parish

Curfew from 5 pm Sunday until 7 am Monday.
