Update: Two lanes on I-10E at the Highrise Bridge are now open. DOTD is no longer diverting traffic. drivers may still want to take an alternate route due to congestion.
The New Orleans DOTD says I-10 East at the Highrise Bridge is closed due to an accident.
Traffic is backed up to the I-10/610 merge. Traffic is being diverted at Louisa. Drivers are advised to find an alternate route at Elysian Fields to Chef Menteur Highway.
