A 50-year-old man is dead following an accident on I-10.
The 50-year old male driver of a red Ford pick-up truck was traveling westbound on I-10 when for reasons unknown lost control of his truck and struck the guard rail at the Elysian Fields Avenue exit ramp.
After the truck struck the guard rail, it slid on its side, and struck a white Infinity that was also traveling westbound on the Interstate.
EMS transported the adult male driver and adult male passenger of the Infinity to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Emergency Medical Personnel pronounced the 50-year-old male dead on the scene.
