The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office has released pictures of a man suspected of setting an arson fire inside the Walmart in Marrero.
"Just before 11:00 pm, the adult male stood in an aisle in the sporting goods section adjacent to the shelves," Sergeant Brandon Veal said in a news release. "Moments later, a large portion of the area became engulfed in flames."
The store's sprinklers put out the fire before the fire department arrived.
"The adult male exited the store and fled on a dark-colored bicycle."
The above images are of the man police say was inside the store where the fire was started.
"Anyone with information regarding the identity of the subject is asked to call our Arson Section at (504)354-5300 or contact Crimestoppers," Veal said.
