A flash flood warning has been issued for New Orleans and St. Bernard Parish, and the city of New Orleans announced drivers can park their cars on neutral grounds to avoid rising water.
The National Weather Service said with an inch to an inch-and-a-half having already fallen, there could be another 1 - 3 inches of rain from this storm.
The flash flood warning is in effect until 4:45 p.m.
The city of New Orleans is allowing parking on neutral grounds until 8 p.m.
