Four arrested for murder of Louisiana National Guardsman says JPSO

The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office has arrested four men for the alleged fatal shooting of a Louisiana National Guardsman in Terrytown according to a report from The Times-Picayune | The Advocate.

Myron Lee, 20, Matthew Smith, 20, Isaiah White, 20, and Kewayne Edwards, 21, were arrested and booked with first-degree murder in the fatal shooting of Jemond Cador, 21.


The shooting happened on December 6 at his apartment in the 200 block of Wright Avenue.

The report says when sheriff’s deputies arrived on the scene they found an apartment with the front door kicked in. Inside deputies found Cador on the floor with gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital where he later died from his injuries.
