One day after New Orleans police released surveillance photos of a man they said broke into a business just off Jackson Square, authorities say they arrested that suspect.
Andrew James Ruffin, 38, is accused of breaking into a business located in the Upper Pontalba Building on St. Peter Street early Sunday morning.
According to investigators, Ruffin smashed a window and stole several items from that business, cutting his hand in the process.
Police did not say what charges Ruffin is facing.
The case remains under investigation.
