A woman is in the hospital after a shooting in Gentilly.
NOPD spokesperson Reese Harper says the shooting happened just before 5 p.m. Sunday on St.
Bernard Avenue near Alfred Street.
According to Harper, the woman was shot once in the body. An EMS crew took the victim to the hospital. Her condition is unknown.
