Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office deputies arrested the executive secretary of the Louisiana Board of Private Security Examiners in an apparent drug deal, according to WWL-TV.com. Bridgette Hull of Metairie was booked with two counts of possession with intent to distribute meth and fentanyl, along with possession of a firearm while in possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

The Board of Private Security Examiners is the state board that regulates private security companies. It provides industry licensure, registration, education, investigations, and compliance oversight.
According to the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office, deputies were dispatched at the request of the Louisiana Attorney General's Office to assist in an arrest at a fast food restaurant in the Albany area, west of Hammond.
When deputies showed up, they took Hull into custody, while an alleged accomplice, 37-year-old Steven McCarthy of Baton Rouge, fled in his vehicle. Deputies say McCarthy struck another vehicle while fleeing, causing minor injuries to the driver. They were able to capture McCarthy a short time later.
