Louisiana prepares for Tropical Storm Ida to make landfall in the next few days.
These are the locations where residents can get free sandbags.
Orleans
Sandbags will be available Friday from 2-6 p.m. while supplies last at the following locations, sandbags are limited to four per person.

- Central City Dryades YMCA, 2220 Oretha Castle Haley Blvd.
- Gentilly Beacon Light International, 1937 Mirabeau Ave.
- New Orleans East Saint Maria Goretti Church, 7300 Crowder Blvd.

St. John the Baptist Parish
Sandbag locations will open Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. in preparation for the possible tropical weather.

Everyone is asked to bring a shovel for self-serve locations.
Pre-filled sandbags for elderly and disabled:

Limit 10 pre-filled.
St. Charles Parish
The East Bank and West Bank Bridge Park sandbag locations are currently open for St. Charles Parish Residents only.
All other sandbag locations will be operational by 1 p.m. Friday.
Residents are asked to bring their own shovel and only take what is needed.
St. Tammany Parish
Residents are asked to bring their own shovels in case all shovels provided are in use.
Also, residents are asked to limit their number of sandbags to 15 per vehicle
