The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development is warning motorists of a slow-moving operation on the I-10 Atchafalaya Basin bridge Sunday.
DoTD crews will be pre-treating the bridge for the expected winter weather early in the week.
"Due to the slow-moving operation, motorists are more than likely to encounter delays," the agency cautioned. "Motorists are encouraged to drive safely and be on the lookout for crews and their equipment."
The DoTD says travelers can keep up with the latest updates by checking the web site 511la.org, or following DoTC social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram, and X (Twitter).
