A man was shot and killed in Treme Monday evening on St. Ann near I-10.
Authorities say it happened at around 6:40 p.m. in the 1900 block of St. Ann Street. When responding officers arrived on the scene, they found a male victim with a gunshot wound. EMS transported the man to the hospital where he later died.
Investigators are currently in the process of gathering evidence and information to identify who may responsible for this incident, as well as a motive.
