A few of us are chomping at the bit to get back to normal, but many of us don't know how to bounce back from a weather event such as this because we just don't see it.

We know eventually we will get back to life and back on the road. But, before you do let's find out what you need to know so your car runs as did before the snow shower.

Other advice for your vehicle is to start 'er up! Don't allow the car to sit in the cold with an ignition start for days at a time.

Ray Commisky Fixed Operations Director for Premiere Nissan Metairie says be ready for battery failures, especially if your battery was already worn.

He says temperatures like we're seeing can reduce a battery's voltage output by about fifty percent.
