All lanes of I-10 East remain closed to traffic at Williams Boulevard due to a disabled semi-truck.
A caller tells WWL that traffic has come to a complete stop for more than half an hour.
Traffic is being diverted off the interstate at Loyola Drive. Traffic congestion has reached milepost 218 on the Bonnet Carre Spillway Bridge.
Motorists are advised to use an alternate route: I-310 South to US 61.
