Two leaders from the New Orleans city government will serve as co-grand marshals of the Endymion Parade this year.
Endymion leaders announced on Friday that New Orleans Police Superintendent Anne Kirkpatrick and New Orleans Chief Administrative Officer Gilbert Montaño will lead the parade on Saturday, February 10. Montaño has served as the city's CAO since 2018 when Mayor LaToya Cantrell took office. Kirkpatrick was sworn into the NOPD superintendent's position in October.
This year's parade route will be extended to parts of St. Charles Street and pass in front of Gallier Hall. The parade will end at the Morial Convention Center.
