The Office of Motor Vehicles (OMV) is temporarily down, as per a post this morning on the Louisiana.gov website:
“OMV SYSTEM TEMPORARILY DOWN
OMV's system is temporarily down and we are currently unable to process driver's license(s), vehicle registration, and reinstatement transactions. We do not have an estimated time of restoration.
We appreciate your patience as our vendor works to restore service. Updates will be posted here as soon as the system is operational again.”
As of 11:25 am, the system is still down and no further updates have been issued. You can keep up with updates by following the Louisiana DMV on their official Facebook page.
