Louisiana leaders shared their thoughts and comments on President Biden’s Inauguration Day.
Moments after President Biden officially became the 46th president, U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy released a statement as he and his wife attended the inauguration in D.C.
“I look forward to working with the Biden administration to create more and better-paying jobs for Louisiana workers, to lower the cost of health care, to improve the lives of Louisiana families, and to drive our country forward,” said Dr. Cassidy.
Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards released a statement as well saying, “Today, our country turns the page to a new chapter. Although we face significant challenges as a nation, there is no task too big for us to tackle if we put aside our differences and work together.”
