When it comes to college athletes inking lucrative NIL deals, LSU is quickly moving to the head of the pack when it comes to its players securing those paydays. And now you can add one of the LSU Football Tigers’ top big men to the list.
Emery Jones has signed a deal with BurgerIM Baton Rouge to endorse a hamburger created in his honor.
The “Big 50 Burger” is said to honor Jones, a key piece of the Tigers' offensive line, for his work both on the field and off it.
So what’s on a Big 50 Burger?
According to a BurgerIM Baton Rouge news release, the sandwich contains “a 100% hand-pressed angus beef patty, lettuce, tomato, red onion, three slices of crispy bacon, fried jalapeno, Colby jack cheese, cheddar cheese, and custom-made sauce, all on top of a toasted brioche bun.”
The Big 50 Burger will make its debut Saturday, October 28, at a special event taking place from 1-2:30 pm that will feature a meet-and-greet as well as local vendors, prizes and giveaways.
