An LSU student was arrested this week after allegedly stealing team-issued gear from the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.

Brett Pemberton, 19, was one of the men caught on camera illegally entering the PMAC on February 28 after the men’s basketball team’s win over Georgia.

Pemberton could be seen on video making multiple trips in and out of the arena, according to police.

He was arrested after a search of his apartment by police turned up basketball shoes and volleyball jerseys that were taken that night.

Pemberton was booked into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison and charged with one count of simple burglary.

The goods stolen from the PMAC on February 28 were valued at over $4,700.
