Police in New Orleans are investigating another shooting on Interstate 10.
It happened at about 10:20 p.m. on Wednesday on I-10 west at Franklin Avenue.
According to an NOPD report, a man was in a vehicle on the interstate when his car began taking gunfire. The victim realized he was shot and arrived at the local hospital for treatment.
This is the second separate shooting incident to happen on I-10 in less than 24 hours.
The first interstate shooting happened earlier that same day at about 6:16 p.m. at the Bullard Avenue exit. Police say a female was shot while driving on the interstate.
No further details are available at this time as police are currently investigating both shootings.
